Position Summary:
Oversees the HVAC sales team. HVAC Sales Directors work by training their sales team, reviewing the team’s sales performance and providing support where they are needed to increase the company’s overall profitability.
Education:
- A bachelor’s degree is preferred, however, hiring outside of this educational level may occur for an individual with a powerful resume and extensive experience within the sales industry. On-site training and continued education will be provided.
Responsibilities:
- Be graded on a set of success metrics specific to your role.
- Adhere to the company’s set of Core Values.
- Aid Dispatch in closing sales leads.
- Attend all company meetings that pertain to you.
- Create training schedules for your sales team and hold meetings.
- Maintain a minimum of 50% closing ratio on all company-supplied leads.
- Schedule installations with the Dispatch and Warehouse department.
- Complete all internal paperwork on sales.
- Be knowledgeable of all financing options and plans and share that knowledge with your team.
- Visit job sites in person and perform analysis of the customer’s situation. Present good, better, best for customers to have the power to decide on.
- Maintain and expand customer base by counseling sales representatives, building and
maintaining rapport with key customers and identifying new customer opportunities.
- Establish sales objectives by creating a sales plan and quota for your team.
- Network yourself and your company. The more community involvement you participate
in, the more referrals and contacts you will gain.
- Be knowledgeable of all BAEHR HVAC equipment line offerings, including the
specifications on each.
- Be knowledgeable of municipal, state and federal codes for all pertaining cities as well
as safe installation practices.
- Coach sales team to work hand in hand with specific service divisions to maintain quality
and safety with each potential sale, as well as become more familiar with the installation
process of each particular item you are selling.
- Attend internal and external training, when available.

Compensation:
- This position will earn an annual compensation including the opportunity to make commissions and bonuses.
Schedule:
- Be ready to dominate Monday-Friday 7:30am-4:00pm.
- Be prepared to assist after hours and on weekends via phone or in-person.

Responsibilities:

- Attend all company meetings. Participate in daily role play.
- Maintain the highest customer service standards possible.
- Direct potential sales leads to Sales Specialists.
- Direct all technical questions to the HVAC Manager.
- Complete all internal company forms and keep up with all necessary paperwork and pick tickets.
- Must be able to operate and utilize BAEHR’s P.O.S mobile system.
- Submit proposals to the HVAC Manager for approval.
- Perform ride-alongs to entry-level HVAC associates.
- Present each customer with proper product information and customer satisfaction platforms.
- Wear shoe covers to every residential service and maintenance call.
- Attend on-site & external training when available.
- Meet or exceed the company’s average sales revenue per tech.
- Meet or exceed the minimum proficiency requirements set forth by the MSC Mechanical, Inc. Proficiency Program.
- Maintain proper grooming and uniform standards.
- Abide by BAEHR, Inc. handbook policies and procedures.
- Be prepared for randomized vehicle inspections to check for cleanliness and inventory.
Qualifications:
- EPA Certified
- Maintain a clean driving record & keep a valid driver’s license
- Be absent of drug use.
